Is There Any Hope of Banning GMOs?

Thanks to Cap'n Dave who furnished the following links detailing the choke hold on Congress and other decision-making bodies held by Monsanto and the other players in the seed industry.  Is there any hope for our voices to be heard?  The links are supplied by the Cornucopia Institute, an independent group of researchers and organic farmers centered in Wisconsin.

Despite many company names, ownership of seed and chemical producers is concentrated in just a few parent organizations which control the seed industry.   Chart of seed production ownership.  

The "Organic" industry arena is just as complex.  If you don't grow your own, or by from small, local producers, this is what you get>  "Organic" industry
