Seminole Indian Gardens

Naturalist William Bartram wrote of his travels around Florida and what he found in Seminole Indian Gardens.  The variety of fruits and vegetables is impressive, many of which we still grow today.  Some have been cultivated for thousands of years with untold generations faithfully saving seeds for the next crop.  Read these excerpts furnished by Leon County Sustainability Coordinator Kathryn Ziewitz.  Thanks Kathryn!
