Workplace Permablitz

July 27, 2013 9:00 a.m.

2074 Summit Lake Drive, Tallahassee

Amy Bennett, a permaculture designer, will be holding a Permablitz in a different kind of setting—at her workplace, MEGAS, in Tallahassee, Florida.

A permablitz is a fun and hands-on way to introduce others to permaculture and its design methods.  Permablitz volunteers will be building and sheet mulching a keyhole garden to grow food for everyone at MEGAS to share and enjoy.
Come and bring family and friends.  If you're a permaculture designer, a newbie interested in getting some hands-on permaculture experience, or just like to hang out with fun, like-minded people and play in dirt and water, please come out and join us! We look forward to seeing you!

Bring gloves, a big hat, a water bottle, and sunblock. If you have them, they could use some shovels, rakes, and pitchforks too. All the other materials needed will be on hand. Vegetarian snacks, drinks, and water will be provided.

For more information or to register, send an email to tallypermies@gmail.com or go to Meetup to RSVP.
