Is Your Honey Real?

A recent investigation by Food Safety News reveals that most of the honey we buy in stores is not real honey or has been adulterated by removing pollen or adding additional ingredients.  The article publishing the results of the investigation indicates that almost all honey purchased from local beekeepers and at farmers' markets is unfiltered and unadulterated.  The medicinal effects of local honey for allergies is lost when the pollen is filtered from honey.  Just another reason to buy local, or to produce your own honey.
