Leon County Extension will begin offering the Florida Master Naturalist Program (FMNP) in Fall 2014, with an OCT-DEC Upland Habitats Course taught every other Friday by co-instructors Will Sheftall and Rosalyn Kilcollins.  Flyer

Will is the UF Extension Agent for Natural Resource Management in Leon County, and Roz recently retired from her position as Coastal Training Specialist with the Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve, where she taught Florida Master Naturalist Program courses for many years.

Field trips for the FMNP courses offered by Leon Extension will focus on introducing participants to habitats in Jefferson, Leon, Gadsden and Wakulla counties to the extent possible.

The Upland Habitats Course schedule is on our flyer. Class size is limited to 22 students. Register by OCT 5th at See the flyer for registration guidance.

Please help us spread the flyer and the word. It would be great to have you in the class!

Best regards,
