Thomasville Community Education Garden Permablitz

Pam Lister reports that the permablitz last Saturday went well.  "It was great to have permafriends from Tallahassee join our Thomasville group.  The rain stayed away and we got a lot done.  We should be ready to plant by late August!  We built a sheet mulch bed that needs to be solarized to eliminate seeds and weeds.  We used trimmings from Public Works, so no clue what is in the pile.  A hugelkulture was also started.  More wood as needed for the base, so that will be completed later this week."  Thanks to all who showed up to share the work and enjoy the fun.
